What Are Vinyl Stickers

Longevity is just one thing about our vinyl stickers that are seen and used for a variety of advertising purposes, normally seen on the inside of cars, but also on boats and shop windows, inside or outside it does not matter. With the vinyl sticker the advantage that they do not begin to look tired and rather tacky in the way that perhaps a paper one would. Another advantage is that they can be used more than once if needed and if required we can supply these to you to be permanent.

Meat products and the label

In the wake of the scandal that has surrounded horsemeat being found in beef products such as beef burgers and some lasagne and other items, it is worth emphasising the need for clear and concise information on food labels. We feel sure that retailers and manufacturers are fully aware that this is a must, but design teams can get wrapped up in the look of the label ensuring that it is eye catching and clearly directs the customer in the direction the producer wants them to go, it might be that clear information on the content of the product could be overlooked.

High & Low Temperature Labels

We have talked about cryogenic labels for use in situation which can withstand extremely low temperatures as low as minus 196 degrees centigrade, but what about important labels that have to withstand the opposite, very high temperatures, up to 140 degrees centigrade. These types of label are found on items such as solar panels and both central heating radiators and car radiators or engine components.

What are vinyl labels?

Well these are basically a sticky label and without them today it would be hard to imagine life in the retail sector and pharmaceutical industry which relies heavily upon them. Take a look in your cupboard or along a supermarket shelf and there you will see vinyl labels of every description. To make these vinyl labels requires a printing process to describe the contents or to communicate other information such as instruction for use of the product and these are fitted to the package or jar. To produce these labels the graphics or printed word is applied on a thin film which and then an adhesive is applied. This can be a permanent or easy peel, freezer proof and can be produced either in the standard matt finish, or given a high gloss finish, which also acts as a protective film, and helps add a level of protection against moisture.

Labelling and Identification

A business cannot be efficient and is on the road to failure if it has no idea what stock it has, what is in the inventory, the value of its assets. Today, this is where modern labelling in the form of an effective barcode-based data collection, asset management, workflow management, work-in-process, and supply chain or inventory management system is how a modern business would operate.
However, it is vital that each item is properly labelled; otherwise the effectiveness of the system is likely to be unreliable. Getting advice on how products and assets are best labelled is normally down to the expertise of specialist companies, they will be able to help with labelling and identification solutions. This would include barcode label design and printing, asset labelling and tagging, mobile label printing, to name a few.

Two types of warehouse labels

Barcode labels are being used with increasing frequency in industry in consumable tracking and processing. The current economic crisis has seen us all tighten our belts over the last year or two, so it comes as no surprise that industry needs to keep a greater track of the products it uses to increase business efficiencies.
