Some materials we use for asset labels

A company’s assets often have to stand up to very harsh treatment, adverse conditions, extremes of heat and cold and they still have to do the job for which they were intended, ensuring the asset is still traceable.

Today business no longer has to keep log files and the like for keeping track of their asset base, adding a simple barcode to the item ensures that whenever you need to the information is available by scanning.

We have a variety of labels that we can offer, much will depend on what the actual asset is and the conditions in which it will be used. If we take heavy industrial equipment as an example, we might suggest that you use a metal label which will withstand all manner of harsh conditions, whether this is heat, exposure to corrosive chemicals are two examples. We can assure you that the information cannot be deleted as we ensure that it is all safely sealed within aluminium. You can expect that labels of this type will last for many years against the harshest of environments and physical damage.

The use of steel would be normally chosen where the asset is used outdoors and obviously exposed to the elements. With our steel labels, we can confidently assure you that these will withstand harsh weather and these labels are prevalent in the food industry as corrosion could be seen as a contaminant. These steel labels have been proved to withstand temperatures as high as 1,000 degrees.
